The first annual Dan Scharfman Memorial Run was a huge success!
We had over 595 runners.
On Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, lace up your running shoes and help honor Dan Scharfman’s legacy. As a leader on the School Committee, Dan believed strongly in the need for professional development for teachers and school technology.
Proceeds from the race go towards the Dan Scharfman Education Innovation Fund.
Registration opens on July 1, 2014!
Honor a Belmont Public School teacher or staff member
Consider honoring a Belmont Public School teacher or staff
member by making a STAR Award donation to the Foundation for Belmont Education. You may also order
a Friend Award to honor that very special individual. We will send
your honored individual a certificate, including your name as the donor and a personal message.
Awards are processed at any time during the year.
Light Up The Night
On March 22, 2014, the Foundation did light up the night to make a difference for the six Belmont public schools by
raising money to support the work of the FBE.
We thank our community, sponsors, volunteers, faculty and administrators for your incredible generosity and hard work,
making this year’s event another very successful one. We exceeded our goal with net proceeds over $150,000
The lights have been turned off, but you can still make a donation
