T³: Technology Tools for Teaching Demonstration: The Foundation for Belmont Education invites you to an interactive demonstration of SMART Board technology on Tuesday, May 6th at 7:30 pm in the Chenery School Community Room. This in-school presentation is planned as an integral component of T3: Technology Tools for Teaching, the foundation's campaign to raise targeted funds for technology in classrooms. Come and be prepared to experience the power of T3: teachers teaching students, students teaching each other, and teachers teaching their peers!

Thanks to all for the success of our Spring Gala! The Foundation for Belmont Education would like to thank all the many volunteers, donors, and participants who helped make our Spring Gala a big success. We are especially grateful to Heidi Sawyer, Ginny d'Arbeloff, and Carolyn Boyle for all their work in putting together a great event. Kudos also to Neal Fay for superlative auctioneering and Tom Kochem for the wonderful film about the Foundation's work. Record attendance at the event and furious auction bidding helped to pull in funds -- the evening grossed over $130,000, check back soon for the final calculation!

The 2008 Foundation Spelling Bee took place Saturday, February 9 in the Belmont High School Auditorium and raised over $13,000 for the Foundation's grant programs. A full description of events with all the highlights is posted on our Spelling Bee page. Many thanks to our 2008 Sponsors!
