Welcome to the Educators' Corner of the Foundation's website!  Here we offer Belmont Public Schools' staff an on-line area where information about our Learning Excellence Grants Program (LEGP) is centralized and easily accessed. Before applying, be sure to review the comprehensive list of Grant-Writing Tips to help guide you through the grant-writing process and ensure a successful proposal. Once you are ready to apply, just download the grant application from the Apply page.  Be sure to check out the Meet the Program Committee section to help identify liaisons at your school who may be able to answer any questions you have during the grant-writing process.

If you have worked with the Foundation before, you will be familiar with the LEGP and the Foundation's history of providing grant money to programs that enrich our public school curriculum. If you would like to review some of the work the Foundation has done in the Belmont community since our inception in 1993, or if you are new to the Belmont Public School system, check out the Grants in Action pages which provide more specifics about our grant programs. There you'll also find historical grant data broken down by school as well as information on our most recent grants with brief descriptions of each.
