The 2009-10 Learning Excellence Grants Program is now open to Belmont Public School teachers, staff, and administrators. The LEGP is offered in two cycles with the following proposal deadlines and award notification dates:

Proposal Deadline	Award Notification
Cycle 1: October 23, 2009	On or before December 4, 2009
Cycle 2: March 5, 2010	On or before April 15, 2010

Applications for the Small and Major Grants Programs are available for download. Small Grants are those with a maximum request of $1,000 and Major Grants are available from $1,000 to $5,000.

All applicants should carefully review the LEGP Guidelines. Grant-writing Tips are also available and can be reviewed in preparation for effective proposal writing.
